ZG916 Army Air Corps Westland Lynx AH.9A c/n 355
ZG916 was the first AH.9 to AH.9A conversion to fly. The Lynx AH Mk.9A upgrade saw the installation of CTS800-4N engines which produce 37% more power than the Gem engines originally fitted to the Lynx AH Mk.9 The upgrade required modifications to the main gear box, top deck structure and rear fuselage of the AH.9 and changes in the cockpit where the new engine controls and digital displays were installed. ZG916 was the second of three AH.9As to visit in three days.
